Spring Scrapbook Expo 2009

This Time for Our Annual Spring Scrapbook Expo. Below is our schedule.

This year at the Expo we had a new comer with us. Welcome New VIP Sara. We make sure to wear comfy clothes and shoes. This round sadly, we were not able to see Patti in her big pink comfortable piggy pants, but she plans on making it both days at the Fall Expo.

7:00 - 7:30 a.m. We Arrive at SCRAPBOOK EXPO at Southtowne * It’s never to early to be at the front of the line (We were number 2 in line!)

8:45 The Expo Doors Open to the VIP's- Squeeze Big Budda from Fox 13 and/or Casey Scott from KUTV Channel 2 news on the way in so you can get your cameo appearance on one of the morning news shows. We made sure we were looking as hot as ever and had the DVR set. Cindy was interviewed by Angie Larsen's Good Things Utah and was on the 5 pm news (you can see it online at ABC4.com, if you missed it) (Cindy's Mom was glad she didn't have her usual scrapbook hairdo with the ponytail on top of the head)

8:46 We Grab a free breakfast muffin with some fruit and put at our tables for later. You have to keep up your strength as we have discovered scrapbook shopping is a sport as anyone can attest to that has seen us after the EXPO.

8:47 - 9:50 Then it is SHOP SHOP SHOP ** NO TIME FOR CROPPING YET

9:51 ARRIVE AT THE GOOD THINGS UTAH SHOW * You do not want to be late for this as it fills up fast and you cannot get in and we must make another cameo appearance.

10:00 - 11:00 Here is Alanae, Sara and Me in the Good Things Utah Audience. We had George take our picture.

This is where Cindy will continue to win the Trivia prize

(This year's question - Who is the Carpenter Host of Extreme Home Makeover - Oh Yeah, Cindy was first on the draw again and won with a Ty Pennington)

Sorry, Sara, no first timers luck here. Cindy won a goodie bag with scrap booking things inside.

12:00 Lunch - This part of the VIP * YES WE HAVE TO STOP FOR A MOMENT, CHECK OUT AND COMPARE WHO GOT HAS GOTTEN THE BEST DEAL SO FAR AND GET SOME NOURISHMENT TO FINISH OUT THE DAY

12:00 - 2:00 SHOP CROP AND SHOP TO FIND YOUR SOMETHING SHINY OR GLITTERY

2:00 Free afternoon snack and nap time if needed . . . What . . . you cannot think about sleeping there is no time . . .

2:00 - 2:30 Normally, at this time we get free massage, however, we were sad ;( that Massage Man was not there this year. He must have gotten a lot of complains. He was kinda creepy!

2:30 - 4:00 VIP Craft class (Cindy, Sam, Alanae and Sara) - The VIP class was a Darling 2 Page Layout were we learned a couple of new techniques. Here is Sara and Alanae working on their pages, before we were back to our VIP table, Sara already had a picture on her pages.

5:30 At this time we try to a trip out to the vehicle, we have to be very careful in the parking lot. Someone may just steel your car keys from you to take your parking spot.

BEWARE . . . IT IS A JUNGLE OUT THERE . . .

It was Sara's Birthday on Sunday so we got her a cake to share her special day with her

5:45 Time to GRAB SOME DINNER

6:00 - MIDNIGHT - NOW IT IS TIME TO SIT, LET YOUR FEET RECOVER AND CROP OR JUST SHOP FOR MORE STUFF SO WE DO NOT MISS ANY DEALS

Here is Sam and Alanae making a Free Make & Take at 11:00 pm. As we discovered probably not the best time, as Sam put her Bird on upside down, and Alanae put the eye of her bird right in the middle of the bird.

This is what I brought to crop, the only thing that is needed is to have the words put on the pages. Yeah, they never made it out of the tote
