On Saturday, June 12, 2010 we drove Thur Farmington after a HUGE Wind storm. And saw this 50+ year old pine tree completely uprooted. I would think it was over 200+ feet tall. Of Course, I had to stop (along with several other people) to take pictures. It is a sad loss. This tree is in front of the old Farmington Fire Station that is now a museum on Main street. I remember growing up with this tree. You can see how big the tree is compared to Chante.
